Hello Friends! I’m popping in today to play along with my friend Jenn Shurkus and her monthly Get Cracking on Christmas Challenge. It’s a way to challenge ourselves to use our Christmas product throughout the year because it always seems to get pushed aside during the busy holiday season. This month we thought we would play with Hero Arts stamps. I pulled out a set I bought a while back and finally got it inky to create some really quick and easy holiday cards. This may even be my card design for my 100 cards I make for my Dad’s clients each year.
I stamped the background of my kraft card bases with the Holiday Florals Bold Prints background stamp with Distress Oxide inks in Blueprint Sketch, Lucky Clover and Festive Berries. I added some splatters of gold metallic watercolor to tie into the gold embossed stamping on the colored cardstock tress. After stamping and embossing each tree I die cut it out and mounted it to the card with foam tape. I finished off by stamping the sentiments below each tree with bold black ink.
