Frightfully Fun Halloween: Fun with Dies

Hello!
I’m back with another Spooktacular card featuring memory box dies! I got the graveyard die with the idea of silhouetting it agains a cool background.  So that’s just what I did!

GraveyardScene

I cut the black gauze pattern paper with the graveyard border and then inked the cut edge with black soot distress ink.  The twiggy tree and small bats (also memory box dies) were cut from black cardstock.  The background is pattern paper from the Wtich Hazel collection.  I punched a 2″ circle from yellow cardstock and used it to mark my music paper as to where the moon would be.  Then I inked the circle of the moon with wild honey distress ink and the rest of the sky with seedless preserves.  I did spray the paper when I was done inking to let the inks even out more and get a splotchy feeling as well.  For the moon I stamped the spiderweb background on the moon with orange ink, then I coated the whole thing with glossy accents (using my finger) and covered it in the new rock candy dry stickles.  I’m kind of in love with the sparkly moon. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by today!
