Hello all my beautiful bloggy friends, I know some of you have been sick lately 🙁 and I hope you start feeling better very soon. Today I want to share a fun card with you all. I inked up my Paper Smooches Spiffy Scooters set for the first time yesterday and had some fun with some new patterned papers and embellishments.
The scooter is both paper pieced and colored with copics. I wanted to use some paper from my new Jillibean Soup Dutch Mustard paper pad so this is where I pulled my color inspiration from. I used both glossy accents and black enamel accents on the scooter as well. This card plays along with this weeks sketch at Card Patterns (sketch 111).
Supplies:
Stamps: Paper Smooches Spiffy Scooters, Hampton Art Studio G Ditto Cling – Circle Background
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Jenni Bowlin Soap Powder & Chicken Feed (Lemon Drop & Stick Candy on envelope)
Paper: Jillibean Soup Dutch Mustard, Bazzill Basics Cardstock
Other: Buttons, Black Enamel Accents, Glossy Accents, Copics
Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by today! And to all you girls feeling under the weather, I hope you start feeling spiffy again very soon! {hugs}
Such a cute card, Chari! Love that paper piercing, and that border punch is great for the "bumpy road"!
