Happy Wednesday. Today I have a card to share that I am sort of in love with. I have been blending my distress inks a lot lately and I went back to some of my favorite colors for this card. I also used some newer Simon Says Stamp exclusive goodies that I had not had the time to play with until now.
I clear embossed a background using Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers stamp set. I stamped the larger images first then filled in with the round circles of different sizes. After embossing all the images I blended distress inks onto the white card stock starting in the center with scattered straw, then dried marigold, worn lipstick and a tiny bit of abandoned coral just along the edges.
I used the Simon Says Stamp Painted Faith die and cut some Lawn Fawn mermaid card stock as well as some teal craft foam and layered them together. I added some clear sparkle pen to the sentiment and highlights on the flowers and Stardust stickles to the round bubbles. I completely love the soft colors of this card.
