Ellen Hutson Summer of Stamping: Essentials By Ellen Release

Hello Friends!

Today I am joining my friends at Ellen Hutson for their Summer of Stamping event! Today they are releasing some new Essentials by Ellen sets with some serious summer vibes. I had fun playing with these sets and made a couple cards to share.

First up, I used the new stamp set It’s a Jungle to create a fun pull tab card. I love these tiki heads, they make me think of the tiki room at Disney World. So that’s exactly why I hid them behind the plants so they could appear for their big performance. 🙂

I stamped or white embossed all the images on colored cardstock and added color accents with colored pencils. The background is inked with Salvaged Patina with some water droplets and white paint for texture.

I also added some glitter to the tiki torches in the background for some simmering flames. Fun right? My second card uses the new Mondo Anthurium stamp set.

I embossed the image with copper embossing powder on watercolor paper. Then I used my Karin Brushmarker Pro pens to watercolor the leaves in a rainbow of colors.

I mounted the die cut image onto an aqua card base then I white embossed the sentiment on a grey cardstock strip and layered it across the bottom of the card. Click HERE to see all the new Essentials By Ellen products available today.
