Hello! Today I am happy to join the team at Ellen Hutson for their 12 Tags of Christmas. I am paired up with the amazing Julie Ebersole and we are making tags based on the Christmas carol “Holly Jolly.”
Holly Jolly Christmas is one of those songs that is happy and makes you want to dance so I created a “dancing” tree. I used the Concord & 9th FaLaLa Fringe Tree stamp and die set. I did a fun technique by stamping Lawn Fawn Jellyfish ink on Bristol cardstock for the tree image. Then I ink blended distress ink in Kitsch Flamingo over top creating a pink tree. The Jellyfish ink will create a slightly darker area when inked and it give an easy tone on tone look. The sentiment is from the Concord & 9th Home for the Holiday Stacks stamp set.
I used the Jellyfish ink to stamp the Essentials By Ellen Fa La La background stamp onto the green tag for a cool watermark look as well. Be sure to check out Julie’s tag on the Ellen Hutson blog as well as all the other tags from the last 12 days!

I can’t stop thinking that the tag was caught mid way dancing! LOL adorable
This tag reminds me of a jellyfish. It has that translucent effect to it. I looks like it has movement without moving which I think is so cool. I was grooving on pick this year too! Thanks for sharing. Now time to go dance!
