Hello!
Today I have a pretty sunset card with silhouette stamping over top. You can see the video tutorial of this card over on the Lawn Fawn blog or on the Lawn Fawn YouTube channel HERE.
For my distress sky I borrowed a color scheme from Kristina Werner. You can see the card she used these colors on HERE. From lightest to darkest I used Antique Linen, Victorian Velvet, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I love this sky, I never thought to include Antique Linen for the lightest color, Thanks Kristina!
I blended the colors on Distress Watercolor paper then stamped the bench and light post from Winter in the Park in Versafine Onyx Black ink for a nice crisp image. The sentiment is from Lucky Stars, white embossed on black card stock to create my ground. I used a silver gel pen to add a few little stars in the night sky and a gold gel pen to add some flames in the lamps on the lamp post.
Thanks for stopping by today!
