This post is not part of the hop but I did want to share the card I made for the Lawn Fawn post. The theme of the hop is “Make ’em Laugh.” In the midst of soldiers being deployed and their families coping in their absence at home it’s nice to be able to still send some happiness.
This card started out with the cow and the background, and when my husband said it had a retro disco feel well it just got silly from there. 🙂 I hope you like it, I had fun making it and coming up with a cow afro! The disco ball is punched out of American Crafts Pow Glitter paper. This paper is amazing, it has all the shine and bling of glitter with none of the mess, which is very important for Operation Write Home.

This card makes me so happy! It's hysterical! It makes me want to burst into song, "Burn, baby, burn, disco inferno!" And just in time for Glee's Disco week. Too cute. You should keep your hubby around! He has great ideas!
