Decorative Tulip Pillow for Spring!

Hello Friends!

Today I have a cute decorative pillow created with the Poshta Design Tulip Bouquet die. This project has me ready for spring! I made my own pillow cover for this project because I chose a very small pillow, but it would also work with a pre-made pillow cover as well.

I was excited to see this new tulip design from Poshta Design. Tulips hold a special place in my heart as those were the first flowers Matt ever sent me. He said roses were overrated. This design is perfect for this applique technique because you can do all the detail stitching onto the backer piece and then attach the finished flower to your project very easily.

After creating my quilted pillow top, I stitched the tulip onto my panel before assembling the entire pillow cover. Check out the video below or watch it HERE on my YouTube channel to see my tips for stitching this onto a pillow. I even share a way to make a finished backside, if you were to make a project like a wall hanging, a banner, or something where the back might be seen.

The Tulip Bouquet is easy to stitch, and I love the design. As you can see, I stitched a couple more to make a bigger pillow, and I want to make a wreath as well!
