Hello!
Today I have a card I created from Online Card Classes Clean and Simple 4 class. Julie shared a cool way to use embossing to create a faux tile that was super fun! Here is what I came up with when I tried my hand at this fun technique.
I used a thick inchie tile and a thin steel die to create the impression in the tile then used masking paper to mask off the different areas so I could color them with pigment ink. The key to making this look like a tile is 3 coats of clear embossing over top of the image once I had it colored.
The sentiment is from Neat & Tangled Paper Cut Flowers set. I layered papers from Lawn Fawn’s Hello Sunshine collection behind the tile picking colors that tied in well with the umbrella and background. Thanks for stopping by today.
