Hello! Today I am sharing a special themed Magic Iris card. I had the idea to make a Cinderella themed card using the Magic Iris to see inside her pumpkin carriage. This card was fun to create and I am so pleased with the end result.
I started by creating the background on the Magic Iris Add-on panel. I blended the nighttime scene with Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire, and Shaded Lilac below the carriage for a glowy look. Using only the leaves stencil from the Scene Builder Stencils: Bayou set I added white glitter gel and Moon Dust Stickles Gel.
The pumpkin pieces are cut from Shimmer pastel blue cardstock and the accent pieces are gold glitter. I used the circle frame from the Reveal Wheel circle add-on for the wheels.
Cinderella is actually a mermaid, I masked off her tail and transformed it into a skirt. Jac and Gus are from You’re Just My Type with hats from Holiday Party Animal. I drew the door to the carriage on the moving pieces of the Magic Iris and colored it with markers after it was assembled.
