Christmas Countdown: Day 4 – Jammie Card #2

On the fourth day of Christmas … I’m designing in my PJs again! 🙂

This time I created a very elegant card inspired by my jammies using the same snowflake stamp from a few days ago.  As you can see from the picture, the pattern on these pants is a very elegant and detailed tone on tone snowflake design.

I clear embossed the snowflake on purple cardstock (by the way has anyone else noticed purple cardstock fades when you head it up?) Then I applied seedless preserves distress ink around the edges and fading in toward the image.  I applied the distress ink to the card base as well and spritzed it with perfect pearls mist so that it would contrast with the main panel with a little shimmer.  The sentiment is silver embossed on the same purple cardstock and adhered with foam adhesive.  Then I finished off with some bling!  At first I thought I had gone a little overboard with the bling, but on second thought maybe not. 🙂

Now for today’s Christmas songs quiz questions…
7.  What is is that helps make the season bright?
8.  Who wants a pair of hop-a-long boots and a pistol that shoots?

Answers from yesterday
5. When did I see those three ships? I saw three ships come sailing in on Christmas Day in the morning
6. What size were those Kings of the Orient? Wee three kings of orient are (they were “wee”! I told you it was silly!)

Thanks for stopping by today!! 🙂
