Chevron Coverall Cards

Hello Friends!

Today I have a quick tutorial showing how I created these cute springy cards using the Postha Design Chevron Coverall die. You may have seen these cards before, I did create them last year for the spring release but it’s never too late for a fun tutorial!

For my first card, I stitched the Chevron Coverall using one of the stitching guides included with the die.

To embellish, I stitched up the medium size been from the Busy Bee die set. I used pearlescent vellum for the wings and layered pattern cotton fabric over the felt for the body.

The Double-Ended Stamens available from Postha Design are the perfect finishing touch for this cute little bee. And since I did decorate with a bee, I thought it would make a perfect Birthday (B-day) card.

Next up, I challenged myself to think outside the box. I created little tufts of grass at the points of the chevron, and I think it turned out really fun. It was the perfect background for Lil’ Dotty to say “Hi.”

Check out the process of creating these fun cards in the tutorial below or HERE on YouTube!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Stitching!
