CAS + Graduation Time

Hello everyone, hope you all had a fabulous weekend.  I know I did, I had lots of time in what my husband has deemed “the craft cave” πŸ™‚ playing with some stamping goodies.  I finally played along with the new CAS-ual Friday challenge.  I missed the first couple because of vacation so I was glad I got to play this time.  This week’s theme was “Bring the Bling” so I used my most favorite bling of all…. Glitter!!! Here is my yummy creation…

My photography wasn’t so good on this one, not sure why, so you can see all the glittery goodness better in this close up shot of the cupcakes.

I wish I could make real cupcakes that looked that beautiful.  The other card I have to share is a graduation card I made for my cousin who just graduated college! So proud of her, even if she did attend a rival college, ahem Go Wolfpack :), and her graduating college make me feel old!  So here is the card I made for her.

I used my new wave die from My Favorite things and Lawn Fawn’s Critters in the Sea.  This was my first time inking up these particular critters.  I really liked my vellum cloud technique from my bon voyage card so I used it again on this card too.

Love your tri-colored waves on the whale card. Beautiful! How did you adhere your vellum clouds without the adhesive showing?
