I really like this weeks color combo, a whole lot of neutral with a splash of red. YES! I do love the color Red. It makes me smile 🙂 and reminds me of college, more smiles :). Anyway on to my creation using this weeks card camp colors.
I have seen the circle cut off the side of the mat idea and wanted to give it a try myself. I love it! I will be trying this again in the future.
Also I had a couple questions about how I make my matching envelopes for square cards. So I created a page of directions with photos showing to make them.
I uploaded a PDF version HERE (the title along the side doesn’t show up in the preview but it is there if you download it… go figure) I have also uploaded it to my Flickr photostream as a JPEG if you would like to download it from there instead. Hope this is helpful and answers the questions. Thanks for stopping by today!
Thanks for sharing on how you do the square envelope.
Love your card. It's just so cute and sweet.
Fabulous and easy to follow tutorial. I'm partial to the red that you mention as well. :} And wow on your card! What a fabulous design!
Oh I love the hanging heart idea TFS! Into my faves file!
I love the idea of the side circle on your card, the whole card with those neutrals and the red touches is super sweet and beautiful!
Thanks for the wonderful tutorial, I downloaded the .pdf version, I'll try it soon! 🙂
Great card & tutorial Chari!!! Love that circle punched out of the side & the tutorial is aweseom! I have never used my envelope creater for the MS score board! You've inspired me!

Love the side circle cutout and those adorable hearts. Which stamp company are they from? I don't recognize them.
Love the envelope tutorial! Thanks!
Thanks for the tutorial ma'am. I love to make the coordinating envelope…but rarely do because I'm super lazy about it! Also — i have been loving the CHA updates on Twitter. Keep them coming!
Fabulous design! I love your card!
My problem with square envelopes is that I always make the card first & it always ends up measuring 3.25" squared or 4.75" squared:-)
