I always seem to be discovering new things from Joy so I thought she deserved something fresh and new in return. So I went on a little adventure this weekend to visit a semi-local scrapbook store that I had never been to before. (p.s. I was like a kid in a candy store and I WILL be going back again!) I kept myself from buying everything in the store and only picked up a few new hero arts stamps from their new release to make my card. Oh and a new distress ink too (it was too exciting to be somewhere that stocked all colors I just couldn’t resist!)
I embossed the zig zag background with clear embossing powder on white cardstock then used Scattered Straw, Bundled Sage (that’s my new one) and Stormy Sky distress ink to color the background, with a little Pumice Stone around the edges. The cupcake was embossed the same way and colored with Dried Marigold distress ink then I covered the top half with Stardust stickles. The sentiment is embossed with Copper Metallic Zing embossing powder on velum.
