Hello!
Today I am happy to be joining a lovely group of talented designers for the Altenew Year in Review Blog hop. You should have arrived from Enza Gudor‘s blog. If not there is a complete list of all stops along this hop located at the end of this post in case you want to start from the beginning or have gotten lost.
This year was the first time I had the privilege of using Altenew products so I do not have too many to share but I did pick some of my favorites to share with you today!
I really loved the look of the limited color scheme for this ice cream card. Creating the background with the smaller ice cream image in the Summer Swirls stamp set finished off the card perfectly.
This card was so fun to create with the emboss resist and ink blending. The Arabesque Medallion is nice and big and looks great off centered off the card. To add texture to the blended background I used water droplets and metallic paint splatters. I also painted in some of the areas of the medallion with gold metallic watercolor for some shine. The clear and irridecent yellow sequins add even more shine!
These next few cards I created with the New Day Card Kit. I really enjoyed using some of the fabulous papers in this kit and embellishing them.
Here are a couple more from the card kit. I really liked using all the colors of the matte dots in the set on the left card. Now for more hop details and goodies
